Now that the year is actually over and pretty much all thrash metal albums are out - it was time to finish this Top 10 of best thrash metal albums for 2025. Some albums I simply didn't get to because a) I'm not aware of them, and b) they ain't in Spotify. So, there's that.
Regardless of 2025 being a bit of a letdown in the thrash department I did listen to a crapton of thrash.
These albums here have been blastin' throughout the year and my opinion has sharpened or might've changed slightly; I've reviewed most of them - some I haven't yet had time to. One, for example, was released in December just awhile ago and I still haven't written my thoughts on Coroner's return either - it was alright. I suppose that if this thing'd been a Top 20 I might've actually fitted all the albums I really, really spent time this year into it - but its not.
Onwards to 2026 - hopefully it shrrrreds!
